Are my existing support posts/ piers suitable?
More often than not, existing support structures were not constructed with heavy oak gates in mind. Therefore some form of modification may be required and replacement or strengthening necessary for any degree of long term stability.
What power supply is required for the system?
The power supply we usually require to be installed at the gateway is a 240V, 13 amp supply through a IP68 or higher grade double socket which will provide a constant and dedicated supply running through armoured cable. If we require anything different we will inform you.
What happens during a power cut?
All CAME motors are manufactured to include a manual release, for releasing the gates during system or power failure. The manual release features a key locked device to provide peace of mind as well as security.
Do automatic gates need maintenance?
All automated gate installations require some scheduled maintenance to maximise the operational life of the system. As every system is unique please contact us to discuss the different servicing needs.
