Methods of Construction

All products produced by Oak Leaf Gates are constructed using a combination of traditional methods blended with modern machining methods to achieve a gate of the upmost in quality and durability.

The methods and techniques used to manufacture our gates involve a large number intricate processes, with detailed planning going into every gate. Each pair of gates once the working drawings have been agreed is assigned to one of our highly skilled craftsmen then the manufacturing process itself can begin.  We welcome any of our customers by appointment to come and visit our workshop to experience first hand the attention to detail that goes into the making of our products.  For those unable to visit but are interested in the making process a small visual guide has been included below to help give an understanding of the process.  The guide shows our new design called the ' Aero Gate ' during some stages of its manufacture.
